Permit Types depend on the incoming request from OneCallAccess (or the selection made when creating a manual permit request). For example, different permit types could be Excavation, Non-Excavation, Events, etc. Different permit types may have different costs associated, and different workflow requirements.
To edit the settings for the different permit types, you will need to be an Administrator. Click the Permit Types tab along the top of the dashboard screen:
The left-hand side of the screen will list the Permit Types:
Click the relevant Permit Type Code to bring up the editing panel on the right-hand side of the screen:
- Permit Type Info: Provides the Permit Type Code and Description for this particular permit type.
- Workflow mapped: This section shows which workflow is currently attached to this permit type. This can be deactivated if required by clicking the Deactivate button. To activate a new workflow, check the tick-box to see a drop-down list of the available workflows. Click the Activate button to set the new workflow:
- Fixed Price: In this section you can preset the fixed price for this type of permit on the Payments screen. Enter the dollar figure and click Save to remember the amount for next time.
