The Contacts screen is used to define the key contact persons involved in the work, as nominated by the applicant. It can be accessed by clicking the Contacts option from the left-hand traffic light panel on PermitManager:
The screen appears as below:
- Principal Contact: The main contact person for the job, usually whom the works are being done on behalf of.
- TTM Contractor: The contractor in charge of the temporary traffic management at the site.
- Civil Contractor: The contractor in charge of undertaking the excavation (or other) work at the site.
Prior to the applicant submitting their contacts, you have the option to mark this section as Not Required (e.g. for minor works being done by the applicant themselves, or internal council works).
To acknowledge the contacts, tick the boxes to the left of each one and then click the Acknowledge Contacts button.
If you need to verify the Principal Contact (i.e. to ensure the correct person responsible for the works has been named), click the Request Verification button to the right of their details. This will send a verification email to them, which will request them to verify/deny their involvement via a web link. The link will bring them to PermitManager for them to verify or deny their involvement:
If they verify, their Status on the Contacts page will update to Verified.
Once all the contacts have been acknowledged, the Contacts traffic light will turn green:
