The Location screen shows the permit site location that was marked out in OneCallAccess. It is not editable in PermitMonitor, but may be edited by the road authority.
The road authority may independently update the location if the original is unsuitable, depending on their requirements. You can also contact the road authority to initiate a map alteration via the Message section (you can include an attachment showing the required area here), or by calling them using the details from your confirmation sheet.
Please note: it is important to try and mark out the location as accurately as you can in OneCallAccess, as it also affects the plans you may receive from the registered utility owners in the area. The road authority should only amend the map if it still falls within the area provided on the pipe and cable plans. Otherwise, it would be advisable to submit a new OneCallAccess request for the changed area and cancel the current permit request.
If the road authority has amended the map, you will see a notification "1 version to accept" beneath the Location button:
Click the Location button. The new map version will be shown in red as below (the original will be blue):
You will need to click the Accept button on the bottom right of map to confirm the new location if it is correct, or else contact the road authority if the site needs further deliberation.
