In OneCallAccess, you will need to select both Excavation for the Job Purpose, and either Road Reserve or Both for the Location of Workplace to generate a permit. If it is a Design enquiry, or within Private Property only, a permit request will not be generated as the road corridor isn't being impacted.
If you have selected the correct options and still have not generated a permit request, it might be that the council or road authority is not registered for the service. In this circumstance, you would need to approach the authority directly to check their permitting process.
In New Zealand:
If the road authority is still using the CAR History system, the permit may be logged there rather than PermitMonitor. You should contact the council with the contact details from your confirmation sheet for further instructions.
